Since January, the Iron Bow TED (Telehealth Education Delivered) truck has been on the road travelling to Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) locations across the U.S. to spread awareness for telehealth solutions. TED hosts technologies that enable a telehealth solution to meet the needs of many government military health and commercial health organizations. As part of this effort, we’ve asked our TED partners to give us their input on the trends and issues that are driving telehealth adoption.
In this video, Joel Barthelemy, Founder and CEO of GlobalMed shares his insights on the importance of telehealth. GlobalMed designs and manufactures connected care delivery systems that enable doctors to see and treat patients remotely. Joel speaks about the important role telehealth is playing for the VA as they strive to provide optimal care to veterans, as well as the value of school-based telemedicine and corporations using connected care for employees to reduce absenteeism.
Watch the video to hear what else Joel has to say about the advances that telehealth enables.
